Smirnoff Cider kicked off the Bank Holiday summer vibes early, by surprising and delighting consumers with their large, raspberry-coloured tractor this morning, as it appeared alongside iconic landmarks such as Westminster Bridge and Piccadilly Circus, to celebrate the latest drinks offering from the global brand.
With the weekend set to be a hot one, and people getting ready for the Bank Holiday weekend, Smirnoff is ensuring the public get their Bank
Holiday on the right track with the #SmirnoffTractor – which will tour London today, Thursday 25th August and tomorrow, Friday 26th August – offering members of the public the opportunity to share an image of the tractor on social media channels* to win up to ten cases for them and their friends!
Consumers can also try the ice-cold drink with friends, as the Smirnoff tractor will be landing at Broadway Market, London Fields from 5.00pm on Thursday 25th August and Spitalfields Market from 4.30pm on Friday 26th August, handing out free samples** to those over the age of 18 years-old.
Smirnoff’s fresh approach to cider adds Smirnoff vodka and combines delicious fruit flavours, for a crisp taste in a stylish bottle.
Chris Laidlaw, Marketing Manager for Smirnoff Europe, says:
“Smirnoff Cider is a crisp and lightly fizzed drink for everyone to enjoy and we’re delighted to be able to share it with consumers this Bank Holiday. Pioneering a clash of two prominent categories, we’re taking cider to the next level with vodka and two distinct flavours. We can’t wait for people to come down to Broadway Market and Spitalfields, and join us in tasting our contemporary new take on cider”
Smirnoff Cider is available from Tesco and Morrison’s now and is 4% ABV.
