Kanye West has had another bizarre rant

Kanye West has launched another bizarre rant, claiming to have overcome his public “haters” with the success of his latest record sales.

The 33-year-old rapper and singer was performing at New York’s Bowery Ballroom to promote his new album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy when he began his nine-minute rant, which started as a triumphant speech about sales and ended with old grievances against Taylor Swift.

Kanye said: “I always felt like I could do anything, but now I feel so fearless.

“To do an album after the after the year that I’ve had and all the ‘Your career is over. To come back and do 100,000 the first day digital alone… what that number says is that people want me to keep making music.”

He went on: “I ain’t here to do no motherf***ing politics, I’m here to make music.

“If you’re a child that’s being abused by your parent, or you’re a girl that’s being abused by your boyfriend, the greatest win you can ever have is for that person to hit you in public! You see?”

Kanye tried to address his infamous outburst against Taylor at the VMAs last year and also his comments against George Bush in 2005.

“When you do things like what happened last year, it’s disrespectful to everyone as creators. If I wasn’t drunk I would have been on stage longer.

“Everyone wants to villainise people… what I said about George Bush… I was emotional, that was not exactly the way I wanted to word it.

“But I rode it, I rode it. Just as Taylor never came to my defence in any interview, and rode the wave, and rode it, and rode it.”
