Willis is Valentine dream date

A new waxwork of actor Bruce Willis has gone on display at Madame Tussauds

Bruce Willis has gone from Die Hard to melting hearts as he was unveiled as a Valentine dream date.

The 55-year-old movie tough guy was named the top leading man who gets women’s pulses racing in a survey for Madame Tussauds.

And in recognition of his position as the ultimate heartthrob, bosses at the London attraction have created a brand new figure of the Pulp Fiction and The Expendables star.

Bruce triumphed just ahead of Bafta-winning star Colin Firth, who was named runner-up in the poll.

Younger actors such as Jake Gyllenhaal and Jude Law were also represented.

The new waxwork – dressed for a romantic date in black suit and crisp white shirt – was placed in the A-list party area of Tussauds and went on display today.

Liz Edwards of Tussauds said: “Bruce Willis was the people’s choice. We continually poll our guests for their views on who they want to see in the attraction.

“Last year we introduced a number of sexy ladies – Helen Mirren, Cheryl Cole and Lady Gaga – and we knew we wanted to redress the balance a bit this year.”
