		</div><p>Apple’s upcoming iPhone 8 flagship smartphone could cost more than $1000 when it’s released later this year, as reported by Fast Company.</p>
<p>The 5.8-inch iPhone 8 is expected to feature an edgeless OLED display and may incorporate the device’s Home button into the screen.</p>
<p>OLED displays cost around twice as much to manufacture as the LCD displays used in the current line of iPhones, which in part explains the new model’s high-end price.</p>
<p>Apple is also believed to be considering utilising Lumentum’s 3D-sensing technology in the iPhone 8, and the device may be called the iPhone X in honour of the original iPhone’s 10th anniversary.</p>
