		</div><p>Wildfires in California have forced 82,000 people to flee their homes.</p>
<p>US authorities have ordered mass evacuations after the blaze which which was started by an unprecedented drought.</p>
<p>More than 9,000 acres have been scorched in in San Bernardino County and Governor Jerry Brown has declared a state of emergency.</p>
<p>Hundreds of firefighters are battling at least 8 separate blazes.</p>
<p>One has forced two major roads to close &#8211; including the main route between Los Angeles and Las Vegas.<br />
Firefighters say the flames are spreading quickly.</p>
