		</div><p>Adele has been hit with a £4 million tax bill.</p>
<p>The &#8216;Hello&#8217; singer returned from hiatus earlier this year with her new album &#8217;25&#8217;, but is still paying off tax bills from 2014, despite the fact she didn&#8217;t perform or release any new music in that year.</p>
<p>However, as she was still earning royalties from her 2011 album &#8217;21&#8217; and her 2012 Bond song &#8216;Skyfall&#8217;, the 27-year-old star&#8217;s firm Melted Stone Ltd. owes the money in corporation tax, according to the Daily Mirror newspaper.</p>
<p>Adele has previously spoken out about having to pay so much tax, saying: &#8220;I use the NHS [National Health Service], I can&#8217;t use public transport anymore. Most state schools are s**t, I&#8217;ve gotta give you, like, four million quid&#8230; are you having a laugh?&#8221;</p>
<p>The &#8216;Rolling in the Deep&#8217; hitmaker is worth an estimated £50 million and her latest record &#8211; which was released in October &#8211; sold over 3 million copies in its first week.</p>
<p>And Adele has admitted she still has five &#8220;really great&#8221; songs leftover from when she was writing the album.</p>
<p>She said previously: &#8220;There are definitely four or five other songs that I would definitely revisit. We didn&#8217;t finish it in time and also it just felt like maybe I should be like, 32, when I do it rather than 27?&#8221;</p>
