		</div><p>If you watched the news conference following Alton Sterling’s death the image of Cameron, his 15-year-old son, crying, will probably be stuck with you.</p>
<p>Cameron held on to his mum, and has now told a CBS reporter at a press gathering about that moment: “When I put my arm around her, it’s like somebody else’s hand touched me, like I had another hand laying on top of my hand. And when I looked over, was nobody else touching me. Nobody else was touching me.</p>
<p>“And it was like at that moment I knew: my daddy’s here – he’s right on the side of her, we’re standing here as a family together once again. That’s when I just started crying…”.</p>
<p>Cameron also spoke about the Black Lives Matter protests taking place around America following the death of his father and another black man, Philando Castile.</p>
<p>“They all aren’t bad,” Cameron said about the police, standing outside the convenience store where his father was killed. </p>
<p>“There are some that are bad, but all aren’t bad. How I feel? I feel all police shouldn’t be punished for other police’s crimes, the police in Dallas, Texas… they didn’t deserve that because, nobody knew if they had kids to go home to. Those kids need their parents.”</p>
<p>“But what I want, what I ask if you truly love my father, I truly just want everyone to protest the right way – protesting in peace. Not in violence,” he added after thanking supporters. </p>
<p>“Not beating the police, not police beating the people. That makes no sense. That make things worse. You have to make things better by making peace.”</p>
<p>Cameron is visiting Washington on Thursday where he’s expected to meet with US president Barack Obama, before his father’s funeral on Friday. The family’s attorney later said all Cameron wants is “change, progress and justice,” adding “we want justice; we want an indictment.”</p>
