<p>Jennifer Aniston has said the hair style made famous by her character in Friends was the &#8220;ugliest haircut she&#8217;s ever seen seen&#8221;.</p>
<p>There was a time in the mid-1990s when women besieged salons with photos of the US actress to copy her style.</p>
<p>The layered cut was given the name &#8220;The Rachel&#8221; after Jen&#8217;s character in the hit US TV comedy series, Rachel Green. She wore the style in the show&#8217;s first and second seasons.</p>
<p>One person who was not a fan of the haircut, however, was Jennifer herself.</p>
<p>The star, now 41, tells the February issue of US magazine Allure it was not her best look.</p>
<p>&#8220;How do I say this? I think it was the ugliest haircut I&#8217;ve ever seen,&#8221; she says. &#8220;What I really want to know is, how did that thing have legs?&#8221;</p>
<p>Jen&#8217;s long-time hairstylist Chris McMillan came up with the cut. He still works with her today.</p>
