		</div><p>Apple’s big annual event of the summer, the Worldwide Developers’ Conference, better known as WWDC, has been confirmed for June 13 in San Francisco.</p>
<p>The annual meeting is predominately a chance for developers to get in the room with Apple engineers and see new software that they’ll be able to take advantage of in the coming months.</p>
<p>For everyday users though there’s plenty to watch out for as well, as the keynote at WWDC will see Apple unveil the next versions of iOS – that powers the iPhone and iPad, as well as OS X – which runs on all the company’s desk and laptop computers.</p>
<p>In announcing the event, Apple’s Phil Schiller also confirmed that the Apple Watch and Apple TV software will be discussed, as well as Apple’s programming language, Swift.</p>
<p>“With four innovative operating systems and a new, intuitive programming language powering over 1 billion devices worldwide, there has never been a more exciting time to bring our developer community together,” he said.</p>
<p>“WWDC 2016 is going to be a landmark event for developers who are coding in Swift, and building apps and products for iOS, OS X, watchOS and tvOS. We can’t wait for everyone to join us — in San Francisco or through the live stream.”</p>
<p>The event will be interesting for Apple fans as the first look at the next version of iOS could offer a few hints as to what the iPhone 7 could look like when it’s announced in September.</p>
