Apple Cider Vinegar

Take 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar, 2 teaspoons baking soda. Add the vinegar to the baking soda and let the mix bubble. Once the bubbles have subsided, put the mixture on the underarms and let it dry. Rinse with cold water and do this thrice a week.

It contains mild acids that can get rid of dead skin cells, acts as a disinfectant and also lightens the underarm area.

Potatoes

A small potato, peel, grate the potato, then squeeze out the juice and apply directly on the armpits. Rinse off after a few minutes, and repeat twice a day until desired results. Potato happens to be a natural bleach and anti-irritant! It gives instant relief from the patchiness and itchiness or even hyperpigmentation.

Olive oil

Take 2 tablespoons virgin olive oil, 2-3 tablespoons brown sugar. Mix the oil and brown sugar. Dampen the underarm skin, apply the mixture, and gently scrub for a minute or two. Leave on for five minutes then rinse with lukewarm water. Do this twice a week for best results!Rich in antioxidants, olive oil is super hydrating and nourishing for the skin. The brown sugar acts as an exfoliant getting rid of dead skin cells or dark patchy skin.

Turmeric

Take 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon milk, 1 teaspoon honey. Mix all the ingredients and apply the paste on the underarms. Let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse. Do this twice a week. Turmeric is great mask to brighten the skin and fades spots away. Milk contains lactic acid that helps in the whitening process, while honey is a great soothing agent.

Tea tree oil

Take 4-5 drops tea tree oil, 1 cup of water, 1 spray bottle. Pour the water into the bottle, add the tea tree oil, and shake well. Spray this mixture on the underarms and dry. You can use it daily.Tea tree oil lightens the underarm skin but also keeps it odor-free! With antimicrobial properties it can act as a deodorant.
