<b>“This is your sword”</b><br />
Season 3, Episode 22<br />

<p>For those who have been keeping up with the episodes, this review will bring a few shockers. Once again, if you haven’t watched this current episode, I suggest refraining from reading on as we will be dropping some <b>SPOILERS!</b></p>
<p>We learn very early in the episode that it was Maseo, who stole a vile of the Alpha and Omega virus from the truck before it exploded. In order to uphold his end of a favor to Ra’s he offered the virus along with his loyalty. This episode we relive the scene Maseo depicted to John Diggle; where his son died right before he found out there is no cure to the virus.</p>
<p>Thea, in order to seek help in her distress, takes a visit to Roy (or should I use his alter ego: Jason). The sad thing is we all missed Roy being Oliver’s side kick, but I guess the directors planned on him having a final exit in this episode. She ends up spending the night, of course, but Roy leaves her with the ‘Arsenal’ suit. I’m guessing we will be seeing Thea Queen as the new ‘Speedy’ in future episodes of Arrow. Now from one relationship to another: Ra’s wants Oliver and Nessa to Marry, but not just tie the knot, seal it by having Nessa bear Oliver’s child. WHAT?! Yeah, that was weird, so weird that Oliver even had to take a walk, but not just to think. He meets with Malcolm Merlin, who has been consistently reporting to Oliver. They plan to shut down the League from the inside, and to stop Ra’s’ plan to release the Alpha and Omega. This is clearly a very bold plan which would take a lot of planning, especially to outwit Ra’s.</p>

<p>Later on, Felicity visits Ray to ask for a favor. In return Ray asks her for another favor, which was to sign a document regarding some “company policies”. I was surprised that Felicity didn’t even read the document, considering that she does work in a billion dollar company. When she leaves we get a glimpse at the document, that was titled ‘Transfer Company’. Maybe its just me, but I thought that scene was pretty downplayed. Also I’m assuming Ray was choosing a life of fighting crime with the Atom suit rather than running a company.</p>

<p>Merlin assembles whats left of team Arrow (Felicity, John, and Laurel), and tells them of Oliver’s plan. At first they do not believe him, but as proof he brings out an old friend of Oliver’s. Tatsu Yamashiro (Maseo’s wife), from Oliver’s time in Hong Kong. She explains everything to the group about the Alpha and Omega virus, and the group decide to ambush the plane used to ship the virus to Starling. They end up being ambushed by the League, and a fight breaks out. Just before Felicity gets a chance to hack the ship her tech is destroyed by an assassin, so Ray flies in and surprises attacks the ship. While thats happening Maseo and Tatsu face off, leaving Tatsu as the victor. It’s sad to say it, but that was the very bland exit of Maseo from the Arrow series.</p>
<p>The plan breaks down and is interrupted by Ra’s, Oliver and way more assassins reinforcements. Ra’s had the Alpha and Omega virus on him the entire time. When captured, Oliver turns around to the group and tells them to trust him to stay alive. But, he doesn’t deliver on his part, as Ra’s seals the entire group in a cell exposed to the Alpha and Omega virus while the wedding of Oliver and Nessa commenced. It’s almost like the Red Wedding in ‘Game of Thrones’, only the bride and groom survive this time. Personally, I am in a lot of shock, however because Oliver told them to trust him I still feel like this is a part of his ellaborate plan. There could be a possibility that the vile Ra’s threw into the cell was just another one of those League concoctions, or maybe they really are dead. All I know is, Oliver Queen is not dead, even if he is ‘heir to the demon’.</p>
