		</div><p>A six-month-old girl has died after being thrown from the window of a New York City apartment building.</p>
<p>New York Police Department said the baby died after being tossed from a sixth-floor apartment in the Fordham Heights neighbourhood of the Bronx.</p>
<p>A 27-year-old woman believed to be the child’s mother was in the apartment with four children at the time.</p>
<p>The three other children were taken to hospital, although they were not injured.</p>
<p>Police said the woman was also taken to hospital for evaluation. No charges have been filed.</p>
<p>This is the third death of a child thrown from a New York apartment since August.</p>
