		</div><p>Bayern Munich remain five points clear at the top of the Bundesliga after recording a 0-0 draw at their nearest rivals Borussia Dortmund this evening.</p>
<p>Although there were no goals in the big game of the latest Bundesliga weekend, there was plenty of excitement at the Westfalenstadion, where both sides created plenty of chances.</p>
<p>While the draw did not allow Dortmund to eat further into Bayern&#8217;s advantage, they did increase their lead over third-placed Hertha Berlin, who are in action on Sunday, to 16 points, strengthening their grip on a place in the Champions League next season.</p>
<p>Elsewhere today, there was plenty of movement at the bottom of the table with Werder Bremen picking up their first win at home since August.</p>
<p>They defeated bottom-placed Hannover &#8211; coached by their former boss Thomas Schaaf &#8211; 4-1, netting four goals in consecutive games for the first time since Schaaf was their coach six years ago.</p>
<p>Then like now, Claudio Pizarro was on target in both of those games, with his strike on Saturday taking him to 10 in the league since the turn of the year &#8211; more than any other player so far in the second half of the Bundesliga season.</p>
<p>That win allowed Bremen to pull away from Eintracht Frankfurt, who were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw at home to 10-man Ingolstadt, and Hoffenheim, who were crushed 5-1 by their local rivals Stuttgart.</p>
<p>Augsburg appeared on course to join Stuttgart in putting the relegation zone at a safe distance as they opened up a three-goal lead over Bayer Leverkusen thanks to a Ja-Cheol Koo hat-trick, but their guests hit back to snatch a point.</p>
<p>Karim Bellarabi, a Paul Verhaegh own goal and a Hakan Calhanoglu penalty helped Leverkusen end a three-game losing streak, although they dropped one position to eighth as Wolfsburg beat Borussia Monchengladbach 2-1, thanks to goals from Julian Draxler and Max Kruse.</p>
<p>Finally, Schalke took full advantage of Gladbach&#8217;s defeat by moving into the Champions League play-off qualification berth thanks to a 3-1 win at Cologne.</p>
