		</div><p>Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have taken the next step in their separation by selling their multi million-dollar home in New Orleans.</p>
<p>Local authorities documents show that the five-bed mansion sold for $4.9 million on Friday, nine years after the pair bought it for $3.5 million.</p>
<p>According to its listing, the three-storey 1830s property in the city’s French Quarter has three bathrooms, two half-baths and covers just over 2,330 square metres.</p>
<p>The pair, who have six children and recently announced their divorce, bought the mansion after Brad founded the Make It Right Foundation to boost housing development in the city’s Lower 9th Ward following Hurricane Katrina.</p>
<p>Listing agent Nina Killeen confirmed the sale and said: “It sold for a very fair price. It’s a good deal for both parties. They’re happy with the outcome.”</p>
