		</div><p>The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has announced on the Saturday that the British regional carrier Flybe has ceased trading and all scheduled flights have been cancelled. </p>
<p>It further stated that all tickets holders should visit the company website to check for the latest information.</p>
<p>Paul Smith the CAA consumer director said: “It is always sad to see an airline enter administration and we know that Flybe’s decision to stop trading will be distressing for all of its employees and customers.</p>
<p>“We urge passengers planning to fly with this airline not to go to the airport as all Flybe flights are cancelled.”</p>

<p>David Pike and Mike Pink of Interpath were immediately appointed administrators and followed on to make the following statement: </p>
<p>“Flybe has now ceased trading. All Flybe flights from and to the UK are cancelled and will not be rescheduled.” </p>
<p>The British regional carrier fell into administration in March 2020 during the height of the coronavirus pandemic losing 2400 jobs but bounced back and resumed flying April 2022</p>
<p>This is a sad loss for the UK domestic sector especially with the looming global recession, there will be difficult days ahead.</p>
