<p>Charlie Sheen&#8217;s new Twitter account took just hours to attract more than half a million followers. </p>
<p>On Tuesday, the day production was due to resume on CBS&#8217; Two and a Half Men after a break for Charlie&#8217;s personal troubles, his tweets were the only fresh entertainment starring the actor &#8211; unless news interviews also counted. </p>
<p>The Twitter account, which had been verified, featured a family-friendly photo of him and companion Bree Olson, smiling and holding up bottles of chocolate milk and juice over the caption, &#8220;Winning! Choose your vice.&#8221; </p>
<p>Another picture showed Sheen and a fake cake illustrated with an Oscar statuette bearing his face and &#8216;Oscar 2011&#8217;, with a caption reading &#8220;Winner! 2012&#8221;.</p>
<p>Charlie &#8211; who joined Twitter the day after his publicist Stan Rosenfield resigned &#8211; also included a one-liner about Chuck Lorre, the Two and a Half Men executive producer who&#8217;s taken the brunt of Sheen&#8217;s attacks in an escalating dispute with Warner Bros. Television and CBS. </p>
<p>&#8220;Just got invited to do the Nancy Grace show&#8230; I&#8217;d rather go on a long road trip with Chuck Lorre in a &#8217;75 Pacer,&#8221; Charlie tweeted.</p>
<p>After giving the actor a break to seek rehabilitation following wild partying and three hospitalisations in three months, Warner and CBS announced last week they&#8217;d decided against resuming production on the remainder of the season, citing Charlie&#8217;s conduct and comments.</p>
<p>CBS chief executive Leslie Moonves has said he can&#8217;t predict whether Two and a Half Men will be back on the air.</p>
<p>Speaking at a conference in San Francisco, Moonves said he hoped the comedy show would return to CBS, adding: &#8220;We&#8217;ll see.&#8221;</p>
<p>Earlier this week Charlie told CNN&#8217;s Piers Morgan Tonight he doesn&#8217;t rehab because &#8220;I&#8217;m a winner and their lives look like they&#8217;re &#8211; you know, ruled by losers.&#8221;</p>
