		</div><p>The US presidential election just keeps getting weirder.</p>
<p>Donald Trump’s latest Twitter rant has added fuel to the fire in his very public feud with former beauty queen Alicia Machado, causing the Clinton campaign to call Trump himself an adult movie star.</p>
<p>It began with Trump shaming Machado for what he termed a “disgusting” sexual past in a series of tweets posted at 3.20am in the US.</p>
<p>The series of savage tweets referred to 1996 Miss Universe Alicia Machado, a Venezuela-born woman whose weight gain, he has said, created terrible problems for the pageant he formerly owned.</p>
<p>Unsurprisingly, Trump’s pre-dawn Twitter tirade ricocheted across the campaign trail.</p>
<p>His campaign accused the media and rival Hillary Clinton of colluding to set him up for fresh condemnation, to which she retorted: “His latest Twitter meltdown is unhinged, even for him.”</p>
<p>She also asked what kind of a man “stays up all night to smear a woman with lies and conspiracy theories?”</p>
