<p>Colin Firth now has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.</p>
<p>The British actor, nominated for a Golden Globe for his latest film, The King&#8217;s Speech, unveiled his pavement tribute in front of the Pig &#8216;N Whistle pub on Hollywood Boulevard.</p>
<p>It is the 2,429th star dedicated on the avenue of dreams.</p>
<p>Colin has also received a Screen Actors Guild award nomination for his role as King George VI in The King&#8217;s Speech, and is a favourite for an Oscar nod. The Academy Award nominations will be announced on January 25.</p>
<p>The 50-year-old was a best actor nominee at the Oscars, Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards last year for his performance in A Single Man.</p>
<p>Colin&#8217;s movie credits include Bridget Jones&#8217;s Diary, Shakespeare In Love, Mamma Mia! and The English Patient.</p>
