<p>Penelope Cruz was reportedly surprised at her baby shower by Leonardo DiCaprio and his model girlfriend Bar Rafaeli.</p>
<p>The 36-year-old Spanish beauty was absent from the Golden Globe awards this weekend as she is due to give birth to her first child and The New York Post reports her friends organised her a girls&#8217; party at her Hollywood mansion.</p>
<p>A source told the newspaper: &#8220;Leo wanted to show up to surprise her&#8221;, so the Inception star crashed the girls only baby shower.</p>
<p>Penelope and husband Javier Bardem, who married last July in a private ceremony at a friend&#8217;s home in the Bahamas, are now said to be enjoying a short holiday in Palm Springs to relax before the arrival of their new baby.</p>
