<p>Cynthia Nixon and her fiancee have become parents to a baby boy.</p>
<p>The Sex And The City actress and her partner Christine Marinoni &#8211; who gave birth to the baby &#8211; have called their son Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni.</p>
<p>Cynthia&#8217;s spokesperson told People: &#8220;Christine and baby are doing great.&#8221;</p>
<p>Max is the third child for Cynthia, who played lawyer Miranda in Sex And The City.</p>
<p>She had a daughter and son with Danny Mozes before they split in 2003.</p>
<p>Cynthia and Christine got together a year later. </p>
<p>The actress announced their engagement while speaking at a rally for same-sex marriage equality in New York in 2009, saying: &#8220;We could go to Canada, and we could go to Connecticut, and we could even go to Iowa, but we don&#8217;t want to. We want to get married right here in New York City, where we live, where our kids live.&#8221;</p>
