		</div><p>All 28 EU leaders are meeting for the first time since the UK voted to leave the EU today.</p>
<p>Taoiseach Enda Kenny will join UK Prime Minister David Cameron and 26 other heads of state and government in Brussels for a two-day summit later today.</p>
<p>The fallout from last week&#8217;s Brexit result is a top priority on the agenda, however the UK is not expected to formally start proceedings on withdrawing from the union.</p>
<p>A consensus among EU states is that the UK should trigger Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty as soon as possible in order for negotiations on a future relationship outside the EU to begin.</p>
<p>However, there a British politicians who say there is &#8216;no rush&#8217; in starting Article 50, but with the European leaders looking over their shoulders the pressure increases.</p>
<p>A new prime minister has yet to be elected in place of David Cameron.</p>
<p>Many have placed their names in the pot for the race for Number 10, so it should be noted that nothing can move on until a new leader is selected.</p>
