		</div><p>US presidential candidate Donald Trump has claimed he is a “better person” than his political rivals as the race to pick party nominees hots up.</p>
<p>The remarks by the businessman and former reality TV star came after he exchanged blows with Democratic candidates Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton over a near-riot at one of Trump’s scheduled rallies in Chicago.</p>
<p>The Chicago rally was cancelled due to safety concerns after protesters packed the arena where it was to take place.</p>
<p>During a campaign stop in Florida, Trump said he was superior to his presidential rivals, particularly Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton.</p>
<p>He said: “The personality, they don’t love it so much but that’s ok. Who cares? You want to know the truth, I’m a better person than the people I’m running against. I’m a better person than Hillary. Hillary is not good.”</p>
<p>Trump also told voters not to bother voting unless they were picking him.</p>
<p>He said: “It’s very important to vote but only if you’re going to vote for Donald J Trump. Otherwise do not vote if you’re going to vote for somebody else.”</p>
