		</div><p>US presidential hopeful Donald Trump has called his Irish golf resort in Clare “small potatoes” – insisting he no longer cares about it.<br />
The property tycoon, who snapped up the Doonbeg golf resort for €15million in 2014, invested heavily in the luxury venue but has lost interest in it.<br />
“I bought it a number of years ago during the downturn in Ireland I made a good investment. It is an incredible place,” he said.</p>

<p>“We spent a lot of money on making it just perfecto — and now it’s doing great. But I don’t care about that stuff anymore. It is like small potatoes.”</p>
<p>The idyllic venue has hosted a number of high-profile events including Andrea Corr and Glenda Gilson’s weddings.</p>
<p>Speaking at a televised campaign rally at Kiawah Island in South Carolina, the Republican presidential candidate said he didn’t care anymore about the Trump International Golf Links and Hotel.</p>
