Paris Hilton’s boyfriend is facing criminal charges following his arrest with the celebrity socialite on the Las Vegas Strip.
Cy Waits, 35, is charged with being under the influence of marijuana and driving under the influence and possession of marijuana.
The former nightclub mogul could face up to four years in prison.
Police say an officer stopped the sports utility vehicle that Waits was driving on August 27 last year after smelling marijuana smoke coming from the vehicle.
He will be arraigned on February 17.
Hilton is serving a year’s probation after pleading guilty to cocaine possession and obstruction charges over the same incident.
