<p>Robert Duvall has sunk his feet and hands in concrete, leaving an everlasting impression at Grauman&#8217;s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.</p>
<p>The Wednesday ceremony honoured a nearly half-century in films as well as the 80th birthday of the actor, who won an Oscar for Tender Mercies.</p>
<p>A crowd of spectators and photographers watched the star add his prints in the theatre forecourt, where Hollywood&#8217;s biggest names have been honoured in similar ceremonies since the 1920s.</p>
<p>Robert&#8217;s distinguished career includes Academy Award nominations for The Godfather, Apocalypse Now, The Great Santini, A Civil Action and The Apostle.</p>
<p>He was nominated last month for a Screen Actors Guild Award for his role as a backwoods hermit in Get Low.</p>
