		</div><p>Ethan Hawke is to run his first marathon to raise money for charity.</p>
<p>The Boyhood star said he and his wife Ryan will take part in the New York City Marathon on November 1 to support The Doe Fund, which works to break the cycle of homelessness, addiction and criminal recidivism.</p>
<p>It will be the first 26.2-mile race for the couple.</p>
<p>The Academy Award-nominated actor said: “Ryan and I are both feeling daunted and terrified,” but “are of course excited, too”.</p>
