<p>A puppy had to be rescued by firefighters after getting its head stuck in a sofa.</p>
<p>Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident in Sidmouth Road, Exeter, at 9.22pm yesterday.</p>
<p>Officers attended the address and found the puppy stuck in the chair. They used small tools to free it.</p>
<p>A spokeswoman for the service said: “Fire control received a report of a six-month-old puppy with its head stuck in a sofa.</p>
<p>“One fire appliance from Middlemoor was mobilised and the puppy was released from the sofa using small tools.”</p>
