		</div><p>A former aide to Vladimir Putin who was found dead in a Washington hotel room died of blunt force trauma to the head, a post-mortem has found.</p>
<p>District of Columbia police spokesman Hugh Carew confirmed the results for Mikhail Lesin, who was found at the Dupont Circle Hotel in November.</p>
<p>The DC Medical Examiner&#8217;s Office said in a statement that other contributing causes were blunt force injuries to the neck, torso, arms and legs.</p>
<p>Russian media had reported that Mr Lesin suffered a heart attack, citing relatives.</p>
<p>Mr Carew said police continue to investigate the death.<br />
Mr Lesin was a media adviser to the Russian president who helped found the English-language news service Russia Today.</p>
