<p>James Franco and Nicole Kidman are set to play lovers on Broadway.</p>
<p>The 127 Hours star and the Oscar-winning beauty are to star in a revival of Tennessee Williams&#8217; Sweet Bird Of Youth, and while negotiations are still under way, Deadline.com reports both stars are fully committed to the project.</p>
<p>Nicole will play Alexandra Del Lago, the ageing voracious movie star, while James will play her gigolo lover Chance Wayne.</p>
<p>The play, directed by David Cromer and produced by Scott Rudin, is due to open in the autumn.</p>
<p>Nicole, 43, last appeared on stage in 1998 in controversial play The Blue Room.</p>
<p>James, 32, will later this month become the first actor to ever host the Oscars at the same time as he is nominated for Best Actor for his performance in 127 Hours.</p>
<p>Nicole is also nominated this year for her performance in drama Rabbit Hole.</p>
