		</div><p>Former US president George HW Bush is said to be making good progress since he fractured a bone in his neck during a fall last week.</p>
<p>Mr Bush’s spokesman Jim McGrath said the former president is improving and his spirits are good.</p>
<p>The 91-year-old took a tumble at his summer home in Kennebunkport, Maine, on Wednesday and remains in hospital.</p>
<p>The 41st president fractured his C2 vertebra, the second one below the skull, but doctors say it did not impinge on his spine or lead to any neurological problems.</p>
<p>Doctors say they expect Mr Bush to make a full recovery in three to four months.</p>
