<p>Glee guest star Darren Criss has turned a Teenage Dream into reality.</p>
<p>The Fox series&#8217; co-producer, Twentieth Television, says Darren and his character, prep school glee club member Blaine, will continue to appear on the show this season and that the actor could become a regular next year under a newly-signed deal.</p>
<p>The 23-year-old&#8217;s character was introduced last week as a mentor to Kurt (Chris Colfer), a gay student who faces harassment at school. Blaine and the glee club at his school performed a cover of Katy Perry&#8217;s Teenage Dream in that episode.</p>
<p>Twentieth Television says the cover scored the highest first-day sales for a Glee track, with more than 55,000 downloads.</p>
<p>Blaine returns in the next episode, which also features guest star Gwyneth Paltrow as a substitute teacher.</p>
<p>Twentieth Television says whether Darren&#8217;s character and Kurt become romantically involved has yet to be decided.</p>
