<p>Glenn Close has been pictured in a bowler hat and suit filming her new movie Albert Nobbs on location in Dublin.</p>
<p>The Fatal Attraction star co-wrote the big screen adaptation of her award-winning stage performance in The Singular Life Of Albert Nobbs about a woman in 19th century Ireland who disguises herself as a man in order to work as a butler to survive.</p>
<p>Glenn is filming in Dublin&#8217;s Iveagh Gardens, along with Alice In Wonderland star Mia Wasikowska and many extras in period costume.</p>
<p>Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Brendan Gleeson and Maria Doyle Kennedy have been cast alongside a host of international names including veteran actresses Pauline Collins and Janet McTeer and young rising star Aaron Johnson.</p>
<p>Glenn, who has a small budget of just six million euro, said last month it was her dream to shoot the film in Ireland.</p>
<p>She said: &#8220;It is a real trick to bring off a movie, a period movie, on the budget that we have, but so far so good.</p>
<p>&#8220;At one point we were thinking of filming in Hungary, eastern Germany, Montreal in Canada.</p>
<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve been all over the place but I&#8217;m really happy that we&#8217;re here because this is where it should be.&#8221;</p>
<p>The 63-year-old actress has revealed she was so moved by the role she has spent the last 15 years trying to get the movie, directed by Rodrigo Garcia, off the ground.</p>
