		</div><p>Apple has been given the go-ahead for an €850m data centre in Galway.</p>
<p>The facility will cater for the company&#8217;s Apple Music, App Store, Messages, Maps and Siri customers in Europe.</p>
<p>The development will include a data centre, logistic and administration building and security unit in Athenry.</p>
<p>The higher planning authority has now granted permission for the development with conditions attached after various objections to the project.</p>
