		</div><p>Gwen Stefani opened up about her painful split from her husband of 13 years, Gavin Rossdale, but said she is now in a “new place”.</p>
<p>The Voice US judge told Carson Daly’s 97.1 AMP radio show that although her life “blew up in my face”, she’s managed to move on to a place she feels “inspired”.</p>
<p>“My life is so extreme right now. My life basically blew up in my face,” she said.</p>
<p>“And now I’m in this new life, and it’s pretty awesome I have to say – I’m so inspired and being back on the show, and just being in a new place. Everything just feels new. I just feel inspired. I don’t know how else to describe it,” the mother-of-three added.</p>
<p>Following the split, the No Doubt frontwoman admitted she struggled to return to the studio to record her new single, Used To Love.</p>
<p>She said: “On the way into the studio the first time, I didn’t want to go. I wanted to be in my bed, like, crying.”</p>
<p>“And I did, I cried all the way down to Santa Monica, driving to Santa Monica, and I was like, ‘What am I doing? Why am I doing this?”</p>
<p>She said that the process of writing new music had been therapeutic, revealing that within eight weeks she’d written 19 new songs.</p>
<p>“I just want the truth to come out. I just want to be honest and real and I just want to do stuff that represents where I’m at right now,” she said of the new tracks.</p>
<p>Gwen’s interview did little to dispel rumours of a relationship with fellow The Voice judge Blake Shelton, who split from his wife Miranda Lambert just months before Gwen and Gavin.</p>
<p>She told Carson that she had attended George Clooney’s Casamigos Halloween bash with the country singer and her other co-star Adam Levine.</p>
<p>Entertainment Tonight reports that Gwen and Blake were photographed leaving the party together and spotted holding hands inside, although Gwen wouldn’t be drawn on commenting on the rumours.</p>
<p>Of the party, she said: “I was literally that party girl that you hear about when their life blows up, and you’re like, ‘Yeah! I’m going out! Like, watch me!’”</p>
<p>“We’re just trying to have fun. You know?” she added.</p>
