<p>Gwyneth Paltrow has spoken about the dinner party she threw where Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift are rumoured to have met for the first time.</p>
<p>Hollywood hunk Jake, 30, and music star Taylor, 21, have reportedly been dating for almost two months, and it has been claimed they met at the London home Gwyneth shares with husband Chris Martin and their children.</p>
<p>Gwyneth revealed to USA Today: &#8220;I&#8217;ve just known Jake for a long time and he&#8217;s a great guy and Chris has a friendship with Taylor.&#8221;</p>
<p>Asked if the rumours were true that she had introduced the pair at her party, she said: &#8220;Well, I&#8217;m scared to say. It&#8217;s so weird. I wonder how people find out these things. It was a while ago, so I don&#8217;t know why it would come out today.&#8221;</p>
<p>Jake and Taylor were photographed together in Brooklyn, New York and Nashville, Tennessee over the Thanksgiving holiday, fuelling rumours that they are an item.</p>
