<p>Anne Hathaway&#8217;s wish for a Glee cameo could soon come true.</p>
<p>The Love And Other Drugs star approached the show&#8217;s co-creator Ryan Murphy backstage at the Golden Globes, after bumping into him &#8220;on her way to the bathroom&#8221;.</p>
<p>&#8220;She wants to play Chris Colfer&#8217;s lesbian aunt &#8211; she presented the whole episode, she came up with the songs,&#8221; Ryan told The Hollywood Reporter. </p>
<p>Ryan &#8211; whose musical programme won best comedic television series &#8211; is up for giving Anne a cameo.</p>
<p>&#8220;I love her and would definitely be interested,&#8221; he said.</p>
<p>He later told Access Hollywood: &#8220;I think we&#8217;ll do it probably in a month and a half or so. I have to talk to Anne about what she wants to sing. I&#8217;m sure she has ideas. I&#8217;m excited about that.&#8221;</p>
<p>Anne has admitted her passion to US talk show host Jimmy Fallon, saying: &#8220;In my head, I&#8217;ve written a part for myself on Glee. In my head I&#8217;ve cast myself on Glee and I know what song I&#8217;d sing.</p>
<p>&#8220;I would want to play Kurt&#8217;s long-lost aunt, his mother&#8217;s sister who is also gay, who comes back to help him deal with his sexuality, and I would sing, You Are Not Alone from Stephen Sondheim&#8217;s epic show Into The Woods.&#8221;</p>
<p>Chris, whose portrayal of gay Kurt won him the gong for Best Supporting Actor, said he&#8217;s looking forward to the collaboration.</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m so excited. I love her and I worship her,&#8221; he said.</p>
