There were 2000 guests in total in attendance for this monumental State Funeral service.

President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden attended the Funeral service as well as President Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron. President Jair Bolsonaro of Brazil and his First Lady were also amongst a host of world leaders at the State Funeral.

The Queen’s funeral procession was impeccably organised and flawless with hundreds and thousands lining the procession route in London to witness the procession and the funeral in a moving tribute to Britains longest serving monarch.

Huge crowds packed the streets from the Westminster hall, The Mall, to The Abbey and all over the ceremonial routes in London. The Queen’s coffin was lifted by eight Pall Bearers, placed onto the gun parade throughout the procession to The majestic Westminster Abbey and for the entire procession.

The State Funeral was with Pomp and ceremony and the service at The Abbey was solemn and on point with the favourite song of the queen, “The Lord’s My Shepard” sung. The majestic Westminster Abbey is monumental to the Queen as she had her marriage and coronation services there and on Monday her farewell funeral service.

After the Funeral service at The Westminster Abbey, the final leg of the journey continued to Windsor Castle for service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle where there was 800 guests in attendance ahead of her private burial service later on in the evening by the royal family.

The Queen’s funeral service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle

The service concluded with the removal of the monarch’s crown, orb and the sceptre from the coffin and placed on an alter signifying the removal of the monarch’s power and governance ready for the next monarch. King Charles was visibly emotional at this very poignant ceremony.

The queen will be buried in a private family service together with her husband Prince Philip who died last year at the age of 99. She will be laid to rest in the same chapel that her parents and sister Margaret also rest.
