<p>Amanda Holden has thanked fans for their offers of &#8220;support and love&#8221; in her first public comment since the loss of her baby.</p>
<p>The actress and Britain&#8217;s Got Talent judge sent a message to her 333,523 Twitter followers saying she had received thousands of messages during this &#8220;horrendous&#8221; time.</p>
<p>The 39-year-old, was seven months pregnant when her baby boy, with music executive husband Chris Hughes, stopped moving and was later stillborn.</p>
<p>Returning following a two-week absence from the social-networking site, Amanda wrote: &#8220;Chris and I would like to thank you all for the thousands of messages offering support and love during this horrendous time.xx&#8221;</p>
<p>The couple received messages of support on Twitter after announcing the news earlier this month.</p>
<p>Myleene Klass and Emma Bunton, who are both pregnant, and ex-Britain&#8217;s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan joined fans in sending Amanda their condolences.</p>
<p>After losing a baby last year, the star revealed the most recent pregnancy only last month when she was six months pregnant.</p>
<p>The couple have a five-year-old daughter, Lexi.</p>
<p>Spokeswoman Alison Griffin said when announcing the loss of Amanda&#8217;s baby earlier this month: &#8220;They are utterly devastated. Amanda had been closely monitored throughout her pregnancy and it is not yet known what went wrong.&#8221;</p>
