<p>Kate Hudson has denied she is engaged to rock star Matt Bellamy and said that her new bump &#8220;feels like a girl&#8221;.</p>
<p>Reports this week said that the Hollywood star, who is pregnant with Muse frontman Matt&#8217;s baby, had hosted an engagement party for family at a hotel.</p>
<p>But asked on The Graham Norton Show whether she was secretly engaged, she replied: &#8220;No, no, not that I know of! I don&#8217;t like putting that sort of pressure on it and I don&#8217;t feel it necessary to get married.&#8221; </p>
<p>Kate, who has a son Ryder, seven, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, said: &#8220;I am 31, I already have one child and have had one divorce so it is not necessarily the golden ticket. I just want to be happy.&#8221;</p>
<p>The actress added: &#8220;My parents (Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell) have been 30 years not married, so it&#8217;s not something I feel I have to do.&#8221;</p>
<p>Goldie told the BBC One show, broadcast on Friday, that the couple had thought of a couple of names for the baby but were keeping them to themselves.</p>
<p>She added: &#8220;It feels like a girl, but I don&#8217;t know. Ryder thinks it&#8217;s a girl.&#8221;</p>
<p>Talking about Matt being British, she said: &#8220;I never thought I would notice the difference but there are a lot of differences, it&#8217;s just a different way, he is polite and kind and so sweet.&#8221; </p>
<p>She added: &#8220;It was the phone calls that signed the deal for me &#8211; hearing his voice on the phone. It was so lovely&#8230; He has corrected some of my use of English!&#8221;</p>
