<p>Police are investigating after a woman&#8217;s car window was smashed and an iced bun was apparently thrown into the vehicle as it waited at traffic lights.</p>
<p>The cake &#8220;appeared on the back seat&#8221; of the Ford Mondeo after the rear passenger window was shattered in Evesham, West Mercia Police said.</p>
<p>A spokeswoman said: &#8220;The female driver was sitting in her silver Ford Mondeo and, while waiting for the lights to change, a man walked up to her car.</p>
<p>&#8220;She heard a bang and the sound of glass smashing and saw that her rear passenger window had been broken.&#8221;</p>
<p>Pc Sarah Nicholson added: &#8220;We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident.</p>
<p>&#8220;Of particular note, when the lady looked in the rear of her car, an iced cake had appeared on the back seat after the glass had smashed.&#8221;</p>
<p>The man is described as white and aged 25 to 30. Police said he was wearing dark-coloured trousers, a grey mid-length jacket and a dark woolly hat with two stripes around it.</p>
