<p>Iran and six world powers have started negotiations about the country&#8217;s nuclear programme with low expectations.</p>
<p>The two sides are at odds over what to talk about and tensions are high after the assassination of one of Tehran&#8217;s most prominent scientists.</p>
<p>The talks in Geneva &#8211; the first in more than a year &#8211; are being held at a conference centre near the Swiss permanent mission to the United Nations.</p>
<p>They are aimed at easing concerns over Iran&#8217;s nuclear agenda.</p>
