<p>Academy Award-winning British actor Jeremy Irons is dropping into Law &#038; Order: Special Victims Unit to guest star as a sex therapist.</p>
<p>A spokeswoman for the NBC crime drama said that Irons&#8217; character runs a sex addiction clinic in the episode to be filmed later this month. It is set to air in early 2011.</p>
<p>Series executive producer Neal Baer said he was &#8220;elated&#8221; to work with an actor of Irons&#8217; calibre. The British actor received an Oscar for Reversal of Fortune (1990) and an Emmy for the 2005 HBO mini-series Elizabeth I.</p>
