		</div><p>Islamic State has claimed responsibility for a deadly explosion that struck a Shiite mosque in the Kuwaiti capital after Friday prayers.</p>
<p>At least four people are reported to have been killed at the Imam Sadiq Mosque.</p>
<p>A posting on a Twitter account known to belong to the Islamic State group claimed the explosion was work of a suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt.</p>

<p>The attack was claimed by an affiliate of the Islamic State group calling itself the Najd Province, the group that claimed a pair of attacks on Shiite mosques in Saudi Arabia in recent weeks.</p>
