<p>Javier Bardem is worried his hopes of a Glee cameo could be dashed, as he can&#8217;t sing very well.</p>
<p>The Oscar-winning Spanish actor is desperate to appear on the hit TV show and he and creator Ryan Murphy have planned a rock star character for him to play, but he&#8217;s worried his poor vocal skills mean it&#8217;s just a pipe dream.</p>
<p>Javier told E! News: &#8220;I want to do it. I want to do it! I told Ryan several times I want to play this heavy metal rock &#8216;n&#8217; roll star, but I don&#8217;t think he has the guts to do it. No, of course he does &#8211; because I sing really bad. I think that&#8217;s the whole point.&#8221;</p>
<p>He added: &#8220;We had a blast figuring out what I could be&#8230; but I haven&#8217;t received any script. So when am I appearing on Glee? I don&#8217;t know.&#8221;</p>
<p>Javier is tipped for another Oscar nomination for his new film Biutiful, from Babel director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, about a father with cancer who is trying to get his life in order before he dies.</p>
<p>But the star of The Coen Brothers&#8217; No Country For Old Men is taking the hype with a pinch of salt.</p>
<p>He said: &#8220;I&#8217;ve done movies where I thought it was going to get massive attention and they did s***.</p>
<p>&#8220;When I was killing people with my cattle gun in Texas with that horrible haircut in the hand of those crazy brothers, I was like, &#8216;who in the world is going to watch this?&#8217;.&#8221;</p>
