		</div><p>Jess Glynne refused to socialise as she recovered from vocal surgery.</p>
<p>The &#8216;Not Letting Go&#8217; hitmaker showed she was back on form as she wowed crowds at last night&#8217;s MTV Europe Music Awards, but admits there was many &#8220;depressing&#8221; points during her recovery.</p>
<p>She told The Sun newspaper: &#8220;It was grim. I didn&#8217;t socialise as it was too depressing.&#8221;</p>
<p>Meanwhile, the 25-year-old singer previously revealed she was banned from partying as she recovered from the surgery on her vocal cords.</p>
<p>She shared: &#8220;I have to be careful [following surgery]. I just need to make sure I rest my voice. I&#8217;m not allowed to go out and party because I&#8217;m still in the recovery period.</p>
<p>&#8220;The record label is working me pretty hard. They tend to put things in your diary without your consent. But now I&#8217;m like, &#8216;No I can&#8217;t do that.&#8217; My attitude is that if you want to f**k up my voice again, then cool, but I&#8217;m not prepared to do that.&#8221;</p>
<p>And the &#8216;Rather Be&#8217; hitmaker admits she found it &#8220;incredible&#8221; when she returned to the stage at V Festival earlier this year but says she was the &#8220;most nervous&#8221; she has ever been.</p>
<p>She explained: &#8220;When Tinie [Tempah] came on stage I had to pull it together. He walked out with this face of proudness and love and honestly you don&#8217;t think you get that. And I don&#8217;t think you get that often, but there&#8217;s certain people. It&#8217;s so special.</p>
<p>&#8220;This is my first proper gig back since my operation and being off and that&#8217;s the most nervous I think I&#8217;ve ever been. I was enjoying it the whole way through, but I just can&#8217;t control that feeling. It was amazing.&#8221;</p>
