<p>Julia Stiles has admitted her Dexter alter-ego and the show&#8217;s title character have chemistry &#8211; but remained tight-lipped on whether the pair are set for a romance.</p>
<p>The 10 Things I Hate About You actress joined the cast this season as Lumen Pierce, a woman brutalised by a serial killer and rescued by Dexter after he takes care of him.</p>
<p>According to Julia, their attraction is based on &#8220;the interest in killing certain people.&#8221;</p>
<p>She said the pair were soul mates because &#8220;she accepts him for who he is, and what he does&#8221;.</p>
<p>Asked if they would become romantically involved, she said: &#8220;I don&#8217;t know, I can&#8217;t say.&#8221;</p>
<p>While the actress admits to &#8220;filling big shoes&#8221; following last season&#8217;s spine-tingling performance by John Lithgow, she feels her storyline went in a different direction, saying: &#8220;I&#8217;m a chick, so that helped.&#8221;</p>
