		</div><p>Parts of the refugee camp in Calais &#8211; known as the Jungle &#8211; could be demolished today, after a French court ruled it needed to be destroyed.<br />
Authorities say around 1,000 migrants will need to be rehomed, although charities warn many more are affected.</p>
<p>Thousands of refugees &#8211; including children &#8211; are living in squalid conditions there as they try to cross the Channel to reach Britain.</p>
<p>Caroline Anning from Save the Children in the UK has said she is very disappointed by the ruling: “We are incredibly disappointed that the ruling has gone ahead to demolish all the homes that are around this area of the camp.</p>
<p>“We’re pleased they are keeping community infrastructure which has been built up by a huge effort from volunteers and refugees themselves but whats the point of community infrastructure without a community.”</p>
