		</div><p>Kanye West returned to social media for the first time since being admitted to hospital to talk about his meeting with Donald Trump.</p>
<p>Kanye tweeted about meeting Trump to <i>“discuss multicultural issues”</i> that included <i>“bullying, supporting teachers, modernising curriculums, and violence in Chicago.”</i></p>

<p>Mr Trump said after the meeting that he and Kanye were “just friends” and called the musician a “good man”. He said they discussed “life”. The two did not answer questions about whether Kanye would perform at the inauguration.</p>
<p>The singer stood silently next to the president-elect for photos in the lobby of Trump Tower after their meeting. Asked why he wasn’t speaking, Kanye said: <i>“I just want to take a picture right now.”</i></p>
<p>Kanye entered the building shortly after 9am with a large entourage. He was not accompanied by wife Kim Kardashian West.</p>
<p>The 39-year-old recently spent over a week in Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Centre in Los Angeles for stress and exhaustion. Days before, he abruptly cancelled his US concert tour.</p>
<p>Last month during a concert in San Jose, California, Kanye said he didn’t vote for president, but if he had, he would have cast a ballot for Trump.</p>
<p>He also praised the president-elect’s <i>“method of communication”</i> as <i>“very futuristic”</i> and spoke about his plans to run for that office, saying that he will become <i>“a different kind of president”.</i></p>
<p>Trump also was shown in a video for Kanye’s single Famous, released last year. It also featured Rihanna, former president George W Bush, Anna Wintour and Bill Cosby.</p>
