		</div><p>Hudson says she is “honoured” to be the new face of alcoholic liqueur Campari.</p>
<p>The Almost Famous actress follows in the footsteps of fellow sultry screen sirens Eva Green, Jessica Alba, Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz to front the 2016 calendar for the Italian brand.</p>
<p>The calendar, shot by photographer Michelangelo di Battista, is based around an election campaign, with Kate playing both hopeful candidates – showcasing her powerful and independent personality.</p>

<p>“I was honoured to be invited to shoot the 2016 Campari calendar,” the actress said.</p>
<p>The star of films such as How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days, Bride Wars and Nine continued: “This year’s theme plays off the upcoming (US) election, which is the perfect metaphor for the many Campari flavour choices.</p>
<p>“I loved working with Michelangelo to create two distinctive characters embodying bitter and sweet.”</p>
<p>Michelangelo added: “Working with Kate was fantastic, her enthusiasm and her ability to switch between the two personalities allowed me to create images that I hope are fresh, inspiring and imaginative.”</p>
<p>The full unveiling of the 2016 calendar will take place on November 18.</p>
