		</div><p>Bargain Bucket lovers in Staffordshire, we’ve got some potentially devastating news for you. A KFC in Stoke-on-Trent has banned young people from entering without an over-18 present after violent fights between teenage gangs broke out.</p>
<p>Under-18s can enter the premises to order a takeaway at the KFC branch in Meir Park, Stoke-on-Trent, but are no longer permitted to eat inside the fast-food restaurant unless they are with an adult.</p>
<p>Last week a nearby McDonald’s issued a ban on youths after police were called to a fight involving 24 young people in a road close to the restaurant. The brawl resulted in eight arrests and police seized two firearms.</p>
<p>Broadway and Old Meir Community Association chairwoman Janet Bellis told the Mail Online: “It doesn’t surprise me KFC and McDonald’s have policies such as this.</p>
<p>“These gangs come in and buy one drink to be there legitimately but they take up seats, they’re loud and they put customers off. This gang problem in Meir is pretty scary and there has been trouble at KFC before. I’m not excusing the youngsters’ behaviour, but where are they supposed to go?</p>
<p>“I feel sorry for them as there is nothing here, it is a sad state of affairs. This is not what you want in the place where you live.”</p>
<p>This is believed to be KFC’s first UK ban on youths in its restaurants.</p>
